Welcome to Lost Creek Farm! We're the Grooms family- Kyle, Magan, Natalie, Brandon, and Nathan. We've always dreamed of having a growing, working farm and although we've kept chickens for years, we didn't consider taking it a step further until this year.
Food prices are so expensive, especially good quality meat and poultry, and our family eats a LOT of chicken (hello, 3 semi-picky kiddos!) so we started brainstorming how we could ensure we're eating high quality chicken without having to check multiple stores or order online and worry about if it truly is what the packaging says it is. The solution was there, right in front of us! We would raise the chickens ourselves.
As we planned, we wondered if we should make this chicken (and processing services) available to other folks who likely have the same concerns as us. After much research and thought and interest from our friends, we decided that yes, we absolutely should.
So this is Lost Creek Farm's beginning in a nutshell. Nestled along Lost Creek itself in the heart of Walker County. Come visit us!
